Maintenance Dredging

Project Summary: The project consisted of Maintenance Dredging and Sediment disposal for the approach channel to Oshawa Harbour.

The works included:

​

1. Project startup including mobilization to the site.

2. Development, implementation, and maintenance of a site-specific Health and Safety Plan.

3. Provision and maintenance of temporary facilities and controls.

4. Dredging, removal of dredged sediment from dredge areas and open water disposal of sediment at the location specified on the drawings.

5. Dredging operations to accommodate vessel traffic at the port of Oshawa in conjunction with the Harbour Master's Office.

6. Demobilization and closeout.
