Project Summary: Navigational maintenance dredging for Hamilton Harbour and the Burlington Canal Approach.

Work included:

Mechanical dredging of 18,044 m³ Class B Material via an excavator and barge from the Hamilton Harbour Slips with land- based disposal on site;

Mechanical dredging 25,417 m³ of Class B Material from Lake Ontario at the Burlington Canal Approach.

This included a section of dredging where diver's used a hydro-syphon to remove sediment over the Trans-Northern Pipeline.

Coordination of operations with port traffic resulting in no delays to the operation of the port.

Pre, progress, and post-dredge bathymetric surveys with weekly progress reports were provided to the Owner.
