Project Summary:

The Brown’s Bay Park Site Improvement projects extending from 2022 to 2024 involved a seawall and beach rehabilitation project; a new sewage system; and construction of a new canteen and washroom / changeroom facility.

 

The seawall and beach work included removal of the existing masonry seawall, construction of new 180m stepped seawall with two access ramps, construction of a beach area, topsoiling and seeding of disturbed areas. Environmental protection included turbidity curtains and siltation barriers.

The subsurface sewage work included decommissioning of existing septic system and installation of a new septic system, including new leaching bed, piping, septic tanks, pump chambers, controls and commissioning.

Canteen construction included a new 228.5 m², 1-storey canteen and washroom/changeroom facility

including washroom stalls, a universal washroom, change room stalls, exterior showers and wudu wash stations, canteen and concrete deck surface.
